The kids were excited. Josi was tired.
We all went downstairs and watched as the kids opened their stockings, with "A Christmas Toy" movie playing in the background. All the kids got Tic Tacs and Joslyn ate her whole box.
The Bronsons came at 7:50 and we all went to the tree to open all of our presents! Joslyn didn't really love it because she was so tired and grumpy. She opened up a "Winnie the Pooh" stuffed animal from Kaci and she started crying and bucking. It's been a funny joke since then, since it seems like she HATED IT!!! But really, she was just so tired. Her favorite present was this doggy that barks and walks.
Owen was always very concerned with how many presents were left and how many were for him. (This might be a problem when we have Earl Christmases, as I'm sure he'll get way less presents.)
The mom.
Tera
Bronsons and Tyty.
Kate and Owen had made us some Christmas ornaments with their pictures on it from preschool. That was a fun little surprise.
Tera got Kate this real baking set that she LOVES. Owen also scored with a rocketship alarm clock that Tera got him.
The Rhineers with their pretend baby.
The Thomas family
All the sisters.
Cousins!
Whoa, so many pictures. Santa brought Kate & Owen a big cardboard fort rocketship and a big cardboard fort playhouse that you can color with markers. We are waiting to get home to open those. Their other main gifts they got are leapster explorers to play in the car. They love them! Okay, they got tons of other stuff too. Maybe I'll list them later.
Phase 2 of Christmas morning was a delicious breakfast, and phase 3 was going to sacrament meeting. (Terry kept walking around muttering to himself, "Okay, done with phase 2, lets move to phase 3." It was pretty funny. He has a lot more responsibility now that Kathy is recovering from surgery on her ankle.) Sacrament meeting was supposed to be an hour but it lasted an hour and 35 minutes, which was a little rough with all the kids. After church we all went home, changed clothes and drove to Arcadia for the next phases of Christmas day (I believe the 2 hour drive was phase 4). Millers like to do it marathon style. More to come.
