The desert: SUNFEST

The rest of the week in Palm Desert was just a lot of playing in the sun. We went swimming everyday.

One night, we had our Christmas gift exchange, also known as white elephant or nasty santa. But instead of random unwantables, it was for nice gifts.

Kyle and I ended up with a hefty little vacuum, and an insulated beach bag full of fun games. Score!

(Although the gift Keri got was a little more on the white elephant side... haha. Except it turned out to be pretty fun. A floating remote control Nemo!)

This is classic Kyle funny game face.

One day we took the kids to a nice fountain park.

Poor gimpy Kathy. I mean Queen Kathy, basking in the sun.

I had to include this funny sequence of events. The fountain water was FREEZING, but we wanted to put them all in it for a picture.

Joslyn fell down right away in the freezing water.
Look at all of my kids faces. Beginning to panic.

Then all of my kids full on bawling. It was pretty sweet.

So many pictures.

I had to include these next two photos, even though they aren't great, but I love Kate & Owen's stances. Kate has her hand on Owen some way or another in all of these photos. They are best friends.

One night we got a babysitter to stay in the hotel with sleeping babies so we could all go eat at Babe's.

Another night was the local street fair. We had a fun time there. Although it was a little exhausting making sure we didn't lose any kids.

Kate's been making this face in pictures alot lately.

Also not pictured was a lot of tennis, a Hawaiian luau put on by the Bronsons, a lot of golf for the boys, ping pong, and laying out. We all had such a fun week out in the desert. It was especially nice to have a room right by the pool so we could put the babies to sleep and still get some sun! Happy babies always makes for a happy trip.
