Utah

I spent the first week in Utah at Cali's house, where I got 3 days with mom and dad.

Cali was super sick, so we were pretty low key. The kids played so well with their cousins.

Josi pre-disastrous fall.

So Friday afternoon I was over at Jason & KaeLynn's to spend some time with them and to see my parents. We were all talking upstairs when Owen came running to tell us that Joslyn had fallen off the bed. Jason ran down and brought her to me. She snuggled me for awhile, and then I put her down for a nap. When she got up from her nap, she kept whimpering and when I set her down, she wouldn't put any pressure on her right leg! It was so sad and a little scary.

We were about to leave to Brooklynn's clogging recital, but instead I sent my twins with with the group and Josi and I went to an instacare. No joke, it was the FIRST time I had to take one of my grown up kids to an instacare. She was pretty happy for having a hurt leg. She was the saddest when I had to lay her down for the xrays, and even though she bawled through the whole thing, bless her heart she held still as a mouse. Every time she saw the doctors she'd give them a scowl, and every time she thought we were leaving she would turn to them and smile so huge and wave and say "bye bye!" It was awesome. We left with an ace bandage and that's when the party was OFFICIALLY OVER for me. haha. No, I still had fun. But after this day I was toting this baby around every second, and it was hard.

Moving on...

Famous Jason & KaeLynn pancake party! I loved getting to BE there instead of just reading it about like usual.

After a week at Cali's, I went and spent 2 nights at Jason and KaeLynns. We had a lot of fun, ate delicious food, and capped off each night with yummy ice cream and Psych.

This trip I met baby Stella for the first time. She's adorable.

One of the days my dear dear friend Jasmine came and spent the afternoon with me. It was SO great. She is exactly the same and I love her and her babies.

We had to take this second picture when Josi woke up from her nap.

One night KaeLynn and I went to Target. Joslyn was loving some alone time with me.

Next I went and stayed a night at Justin and Angeliques. Even though Angelique has her own little baby, she watched my babies so Justin and I could go to the BYU basketball game. It was so much fun. Justin and I have been to so many games together. It made me so happy.

What didn't make me happy? We lost the game. But it was still fun.

This was a fun trip. But man, it was long. Four weeks to be exact. Two and a half weeks without Kyle. I was planning on leaving earlier in the week, but a huge snow system came through the northwest and left me stranded. I mean, my car was loaded to the brim with Christmas gifts! That's how long of a trip it was.

We stopped in Boise and stayed with Myca and Jared on the way home. It was so great seeing them. I love my family. Then after a long 10 hour drive on Saturday (and a near out-of-gas experience), we finally made it home; to a home where our basement had flooded the day before and we were WITHOUT WATER! We just got our water back on tonight after a long 3 days. It's making me rethink our whole "water emergency supply."

Water or no water, I was just so happy to finally be home, have a husband, have a place to lay my screaming baby, and my own bed and space. I was so happy I even cleaned all day today and was HAPPY to do so. Weird.

Aaaah! I can't believe you two were together. You both look exactly the same, just have a bunch of babies around you.
