New Years

New Year's Eve was actually more fun than usual.  I always think it's pretty hyped up, but it was the last day of our vacation this year so we kind of had to live it up anyway!  We went shopping in the morning, had lunch at Pei Wei and Boudin's (we split up).  That evening the kids stayed with Grammy and Poppa so we could go out to eat and play.  We called around and was able to walk right into The Elephant Bar and get seated.  It was awesome.  We ate tons of appetizers, yummy drinks, and dessert.  We are really into the apps these days.  haha.  We then went back to Lawrence Welk, checked out the club house (music and games) and went back to our rooms because it was too cold!  There, we hooked up the Kinex and danced the night away.  It was pretty hilarious.

Dance Party!






Kyle and I did a duet to "Time of my life" from Dirty Dancing.  It was seriously hilarious.  Not so much because I'm huge pregnant, but because Kyle's moves were so sweet. 


We danced the night away.  Kathy brought the kids back around 11:30 pm, she joined in on the dance party, and everyone headed out around 12:30 am.  We woke up the next morning, packed the car, and headed home.  It was a busy, fun, awesome trip.  And since we left when most of the state was still hung over, we got home in record time with no traffic!

Now kids, I know it looks like the grownups had all the fun, but trust me, you always have the time of your lives with your cousins and aunties and uncle.
